Trip Manager App is designed to streamline the process of recording business and non-business use, time, data, odometer values and more through a few simple taps of the screen.
How It Works
Important: You must be logged in to use the application & the driver terminal must be in its cradle.
If you encounter any issues, please lodge a support enquiry without delay using the support webform at bottom of this page.
After ignition ON, the Trip Manager application will automatically open.
You must select the trip purpose every time you start the vehicle.
Select ‘Ok’ when prompted to classify the intended purpose of your trip.

Note: If no trip purpose is selected after starting the vehicle, or you select cancel the trip purpose will default to non-business. This is a requirement by the ATO.
Use the drop-down menu to select the business purpose that best suits the intended trip.

Select ‘Submit’ & the entry will display confirmation of selection & the trip data will complete at the end of the journey when the ignition turns off.

If you need to amend your selection, you can update the trip purpose at any time during the trip prior to turning the ignition off by following the above steps.
Should you need to update trip purposes(s) after a trip has finished you can do this up to 30 days after the trip by opening Trip Manager & navigating to view ‘All Trips’ page.

Note: The Trip Manager holds 30 days rolling of trips only. After this time, you will no longer be able to amend the trip purposes

Swipe screen from right to left & select the edit function to re-classify any completed trips.

You can keep tabs on your usage at any time. Simply open the Trip Manager App & it will display your last 30 days in ‘Overview’ section.

To exit Trip Manager either select the home button on the MT501 or select ‘Actions’ & ‘Exit App’.

If you encounter any issues, please lodge a support enquiry without delay.
